The "Youth for Safety" awareness-raising campaign kicks off on October 6th

To raise awareness among children and young people about the activities of the Belarusian Youth Public Organization of Firefighters and Rescuers, as well as to provide social support to those in need, the "Youth for Safety" awareness-raising campaign will be held from October 6th to 17th.

As part of the campaign, Ministry of Emergency Situations employees, together with young rescuers, will organize the "112 Good Deeds" and "101 Good Deeds" marathons. The rescuers will pay special attention to senior citizens. Together with BYOOSP activists, they will provide assistance to pensioners living alone, the disabled, and veterans of the Great Patriotic War. The youth will help clean up garden plots, harvest crops, prepare firewood, and install autonomous smoke alarms.

The focus will then shift to educational institutions, where, using a variety of methods, Ministry of Emergency Situations employees will promote the activities of the Youth Organization of Firefighters and Rescuers. The key goal of the campaign will be to attract young people to the ranks of young rescuers. The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) staff are convinced that familiarization with the movement will help teenagers not only gain valuable knowledge about safety but also cultivate qualities such as responsibility, dedication, and a willingness to help others. Participants will enjoy concert programs with themed competitions, radio quizzes, and lotteries, as well as gifts and surprises from the EMS staff.

The "Autumn Ball of Young Rescuers" will bring everyone together, where not only will the first membership cards be presented but also awards will be given to the best activists of the youth organization. The campaign will also feature numerous interesting, interactive, and useful events with BYUR activists.

The EMS staff will do everything possible to ensure that the young people who attend the events decide for themselves that the Belarusian Youth Public Organization of Rescuers and Firefighters is one big family, uniting thousands of like-minded individuals who are united in a common cause. If interests, aspirations, and goals are aligned, then their possibilities are limitless, meaning the organization will be filled with new activists.
