Debates Held at the BSEU Faculty of Law

On October 17, the BSEU Faculty of Law, in collaboration with the Faculty of Internal Troops of the Military Academy of the Republic of Belarus, held a debate on the topic "Marriage Contract: Protection vs. Mistrust." The event discussed the legal aspects of concluding a marriage contract and its role in modern society.

Participants presented opposing positions: one in favor of a marriage contract as a means of legally protecting the rights and interests of the parties, and the other, criticizing the use of a marriage contract in the context of possible mistrust between spouses. Both teams demonstrated a high level of preparation: logical arguments, consistent justification of their positions, and confident responses to their opponents' questions.

The event was held in an atmosphere of respect, constructive dialogue, and exchange of opinions. The following served as experts:
Natalia Alekseyevna Kalinina, Head of the Palace of Civil Ceremonies of the Main Justice Department of the Minsk City Executive Committee;
Oleg Olegovich Lemeshevsky, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Legal Disciplines of the Faculty of Internal Troops of the Military Academy of the Republic of Belarus;
Natalia Iosifovna Ivut, Senior Lecturer, Department of Civil Law, Faculty of Law, BSEU.
