Extended Meeting of the BRSM Committee

On December 23, an extended meeting of the committee of the primary organization of the BRSM public organization with the rights of the regional branch of the UE "BSEU" was held at the Belarusian State University of Economics.

Sergei Ivanovich Skriba, Vice-Rector for Ideological and Educational Work, addressed the students with a welcoming speech. He thanked the young people for their activism and initiative, noted the significance of their contribution to the development of university life, wished them success in implementing new ideas, and congratulated them on the upcoming holidays.

Karina Terekhova, Chairperson of the BRSM, opened the meeting, introducing the organization's core members.

During the event, the results of the 2025 work were summarized. The commanders and commissioners presented reports on BRSM's participation in national, city, and district events, projects, and campaigns. It was noted that 5,873 students currently belong to the BRSM, demonstrating the high level of youth engagement in the university's social life. Particular attention was paid to the development of student construction brigades: over the past year, BRSM BSEU collaborated with 27 host organizations, created 72 student brigades, and provided employment opportunities to over 1,200 students.

Plans and priority areas for 2026 aimed at further developing youth policy and engaging students in the university's social life were also discussed.

Following the meeting, the best activists were awarded for their productive work and significant contribution to the development of the youth movement!
