University Council Meeting: Awards for Contributions to Science and Education

On February 3, the Belarusian State University of Economics held a meeting of the University Council dedicated to the celebration of Belarusian Science Day. Although the holiday itself was celebrated earlier, the BSEU team gathered on this day to recognize the achievements of their colleagues:

• Professor Gennady Antonovich Korolevok, Doctor of Economics, and Honored Education Worker of the Republic of Belarus, was awarded the jubilee medal "100 Years of Trade Bodies of Belarus" from the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus for his long-standing contribution to the development of trade.

• Professor of the Department of Economic Informatics, Candidate of Technical Sciences, and Associate Professor Andrei Maksimovich Sedun was awarded the "Outstanding Education" distinction from the Ministry of Education.

• First Vice-Rector Tatyana Sadovskaya received a letter of thanks from the Zavodskoy District Organization of the Belarusian Union of Women for her active participation in the organization's activities, her contribution to the development of the women's movement, her professionalism, and her initiative.

• The following were awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from the Ministry of Education for their personal contribution to the development of science and innovation:
- Head of the Department of World Economy, Candidate of Economic Sciences, and Associate Professor Elena Nikolaevna Petrushkevich;
- Associate Professor of the Department of Banking, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Vitaly Viktorovich Poznyakov.

• A Certificate of Appreciation from the Ministry of Education for their personal contribution to the development of science and innovation was presented to Violetta Konstantinovna Ladutko, Head of the Department of Public and Legal Law, Candidate of Legal Sciences, and Associate Professor.

• Viktor Vasilyevich Kosyanchuk, Associate Professor of the Department of Higher Mathematics and Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from the Ministry of Education for his many years of fruitful work and the training of highly qualified specialists.
