Interview with Miss BSEU 2026

This year, Polina Sapronova, a student in the Faculty of Economics and Management, won the title of Miss BSEU. We spoke with the winner to learn about her preparations for the competition and her impressions of the results being announced.

Polina admits that the decision to participate in the Miss BSEU competition was easy for her – the offer was a pleasant surprise and coincided with her sincere love of creative events:
"I've always enjoyed expressing myself, working in a team, creating routines, and meeting new people. The support of my friends and other participants created an atmosphere in which rehearsals were very fun and comfortable, so I've never regretted my decision."

In addition to studying Management, Polina has dedicated many years to ballroom dancing and learning languages. But even with all this experience, preparing for the competition required perseverance. During rehearsals, she had to stay late at the university and find the strength to prepare despite her fatigue. However, it was these moments, she says, that brought the team together.

The public speaking portion of the competition was particularly memorable for her. Polina notes that she has always loved the stage and has extensive performing experience under her belt:
"I always feel quite comfortable on stage; every time it's a challenge for me, when I have to go out there, speak with maximum confidence, and make an impression. For me, this stage was the most exciting and at the same time the coolest."

When asked how Polina felt when the results were announced, she replies:
"I felt incredible surprise, a thrill inside, and happiness. I was so happy when I realized that so much effort had been worth it. It was a wonderful experience!"
