"ECON-2026": BGEU Becomes Platform for International Expert Dialogue on the Future of the Global Economy and Business

On April 17, the annual international scientific and practical conference "ECON-2026: Global Economy and International Business" opened at the Belarusian State University of Economics. The forum brought together leading academics, representatives of international business schools, and ambitious young researchers to discuss global challenges and identify new growth opportunities.

The conference's opening ceremony emphasized the importance of an interdisciplinary approach in modern economic education. Welcoming remarks were addressed by:
• Alexey Bykov, Vice-Rector for Research;
• Elena Malashenko, Dean of the Faculty of International Business Communications (FMBC);
• Olga Rudkovskaya, Head of the Business English Department.

Students from two leading faculties of BGEU—the Faculty of International Relations and the Faculty of Medical and Biological Criticism—actively participated in the discussion forums.
