BSEU Rector at the Third Forum of the League of University Rectors of Belarus, Brazil, and Russia

The Third Forum of the League of University Rectors of Belarus, Brazil, and Russia was held in Minsk. Aleksey Vladimirovich Egorov, Rector of the Belarusian State University of Economics, participated in the forum.

The forum's program included a plenary session, featuring presentations by heads and representatives of higher education institutions from the three countries, as well as plenary sessions on "Academic and Scientific Cooperation between Universities in Brazil, Russia, and Belarus."

A key part of the forum was the signing ceremony of cooperation agreements. BSEU signed a Student Exchange Agreement with the National Research Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod. The document provides for the organization of academic student exchanges and the participation of students in short-term and long-term study programs.

Furthermore, a Cooperation Agreement was signed between BSEU and the N.A. Dobrolyubov State Linguistic University of Nizhny Novgorod. It is aimed at developing linguistic and intercultural initiatives, joint educational programs, scientific conferences, and publications.

During the Forum, the Rector of BSEU held a series of bilateral meetings with long-standing and new university partners. Discussions were held with representatives of Kuban State University, Ural Federal University named after B.N. Yeltsin, St. Petersburg State University of Economics, Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, Russian State University for the Humanities, St. Petersburg State University, and the Federal University of Minas Gerais. Participants exchanged up-to-date information on current and planned programs, discussed opportunities for joint research projects, educational internships, and exchanges, and coordinated the timing and format of upcoming initiatives.

BSEU's participation in the Forum confirms the strategic priority of international cooperation for the university and opens up new opportunities for students and faculty: joint research, international grants, educational internships, and an expanded network of academic partners.
