BSEU Team – Winners of the IV International Student Olympiad in Statistics
The student team from the Faculty of Digital Economics of BSEU has once again triumphed at the International Student Olympiad and Festival in Statistics!
The IV International Olympiad, organized by the Interstate Statistical Committee of the CIS, took place from May 18–21 in Moscow at the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics. It brought together 16 teams from leading universities in Russia, Belarus, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, and Armenia.
The "Young Analysts" team proved to be the strongest in the overall standings and also won the special nomination "For Creative Approach in Scientific Research".
The "Statistically Significant" team won the special nominations "Professional Breakthrough" and "Opponents' Sympathy".
For the preparation and active participation of the teams in the Olympiad, the Rector of BSEU, Alexey Vladimirovich Egorov, has been awarded a Letter of Gratitude from the Interstate Statistical Committee of the CIS.
