BSEU is a member of the SCO University!

On June 16, the Tenth Meeting of Education Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states took place in Minsk, marking an important milestone in the development of international academic cooperation among the organization's member states.

More than three dozen representatives from SCO countries participated in the meeting, chaired by Belarusian Education Minister Andrei Ivanets. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko addressed the participants, emphasizing that, in the context of rapid digital transformation, education and science are the foundation of any nation's development.

The event was attended by delegations from SCO member states—Russia, China, India, Pakistan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.

A key decision of the meeting was the inclusion of the Belarusian State University of Economics in the SCO University!The university has undertaken extensive preparatory work to achieve this, and joining the SCO University will help BSEU reach new heights in developing its academic potential. The SCO University Conference was then held with the participation of the heads of delegations from member states. BSEU leadership, faculty deans, department heads, and heads of departments participated in the conference.

BSEU's participation in SCO events underscores the university's active position in developing interstate cooperation in education and strengthening ties between universities in SCO member states.
