Forum of Young Scientists from the SCO Countries

Representatives of our university's Council of Young Scientists participated in the Forum of Young Scientists from the SCO Countries, which was held in Minsk at the National Children's Technopark on June 17–18. Issues related to scientific development, ecology, and prospects for international cooperation were discussed.
The key goal of the event was to develop interuniversity cooperation, support student initiatives, and create new platforms for interaction.
The opening ceremony of the SCO Forum began with a welcoming speech by Andrei Ivanovich Ivanets, Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus, who emphasized the importance of integrating young specialists and young scientists into global scientific challenges.
The heads of delegations of young scientists from the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the People's Republic of China, and other countries addressed the Forum participants with welcoming remarks.
The plenary session program continued with presentations by key speakers representing the scientific communities of Belarus, Russia, Uzbekistan, China, and Tajikistan.
The central element of the Forum's business program was the scientific and practical conference "Scientific Achievements of the SCO and the SCO University in Priority Areas." Our university was represented at the Forum by:
- Anna Leonidovna Ivanovskaya, Chair of the Young Scientists Council;
- Vitaly Aleksandrovich Presnyakov, Deputy Chair of the Young Scientists Council, with a presentation on "The Institutional Dimension of Political Stability in the SCO Space";
- Karina Yuryevna Myadelets, a postgraduate student in the Banking Department, with a presentation on "Digital Integration of AML/CFT Mechanisms in the SCO Space: Prospects for Interstate Data Exchange";
- Oksana Vladimirovna Zamana, a postgraduate student in the International Business Department, with a presentation on "Sustainability of International Trade in SCO Countries: Insurance Services as an Infrastructure Management Mechanism."
Aleksey Aleksandrovich Bykov, Vice-Rector for Research, also participated in the Forum. The official participation of the university's leadership in such events demonstrates its strategic support for young professionals, the development of their scientific potential, and their integration into international academic cooperation.
