Virtuoso at BSEU

On April 17, Elena Sergeevna Vylkova, a well-known tax scientist, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Economics of the Northwestern Institute of Management, a branch of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, conducted a training aimed at developing students' competencies necessary to carry out research work.

The lesson was based on a unique author's methodology, which consists in organizing the educational process in the form of a Variable Game Solution to Difficult Educational Tasks (the VIRTUOSO project).

The content of the pedagogical development is presented in the author's monograph, which Professor Elena Sergeevna Vylkova presented to BSEU. The VIRTUOSO project itself is nominated for the national award "Russia is a country of opportunities".

During the lesson, students specializing in Taxes and Taxation, competing with each other, justified the expediency of introducing taxes on dandelions, puddles and snowdrops in the Republic of Belarus, based on the methodology of scientific research. The winners received not only positive emotions, new knowledge, but also special prizes from St. Petersburg.
