II Republican Online Olympiad in Linguistics and Regional Studies of Belarus

From May 5 to May 20, the II Republican Online Olympiad in Linguistics and Regional Studies of Belarus was held at the Belarusian State Economic University. It was attended by foreign students and undergraduates studying the Russian language. Citizens of the People's Republic of China, the Republic of Maldives, New Zealand, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Uzbekistan dedicated their work to the country in which they study.

The jury of the Olympiad evaluated the work of 31 foreign students from 9 universities: Belarusian State Economic University, Belarusian State Pedagogical University. M. Tank, Belarusian State University, Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts, Belarusian State Medical University, Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine, Grodno State Medical University, Grodno State University. Ya. Kupala and Polotsk State University. E. Polotskaya. Belarusian swamps, unusual water towers, legends of each locality, traditional cuisine and many other business cards of our country were reflected in the test tasks and presentations of the participants. The winners were determined based on the decision of the expert commissions. In the team championship (according to the sum of points of all team members), the winners were distributed as follows:

1st place - Grodno State Medical University;
2nd place - Belarusian State Economic University;
3rd place - Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts;
